EGGPLANT

A large, typically pear-shaped or long and slender fruit (that is used as a vegetable) with a smooth, glossy, deep purple or white skin and bright green cap. Eggplant has yellowish white flesh with tiny edible seeds. The mild flavor combines well with lots of seasonings. The flesh of eggplant becomes soft and watery when cooked.
