CORN

The bright yellow or white seed of a plant that grows in kernels on a cob. The kernels are surrounded by fine silks and a green husk. Corn has a mild sweet flavor. Corn is eaten on its own boiled or grilled usually accompanied with butter. It can also be used as an ingredient in many cooking occasions.
