

A Spanish word for a hot or cold hors d'oeuvre served with cocktails at bars and restaurants. Tapas are served in a large assortment and often take the place of a meal. They can be eaten as finger food, with toothpicks or from wooden skewers. Tapas are varied and can include pickled, stuffer or grilled vegetables, sliced cured meats, grilled meat kabobs and sausages.
