COUSCOUS

COUSCOUS

Pellets of semolina usually cooked by streaming, traditionally in a couscousierre. Also, the stew with which this grain is traditionally served. The couscous that is sold in most, supermarkets has been pre-steamed and dried; only some boiling water or stock is required to finish the dish. Pre-steamed couscous takes less time to prepare than regular couscous, most dried pasta, or dried grains (such as rice).
