FAJITA

A Mexican or Tex-Mex dish consisting of thin, marinated beef strips that are cooked and wrapped in a flour tortilla with assorted accompaniments, such as cooked onion or sweet pepper, salsa, guacamole, shredded cheese and sour cream. Fajitas originally were made with beef skirt or flank steak, but now other cuts of beef as well as chicken also are used.
