A small, round to oval shrub fruit with a very soft texture and mildly sweet flavor. Raspberries grow in various shades of yellow, red and black and contain many tiny, edible seeds. Raspberries are sold without caps and stems. They are sweet enough to enjoy as is and in recipes.
